Have you heard of The Paper Seahorse?
It's a dreamy shop in Hyde Park where you can discover all things paper
and enjoy creative workshops! Check out their entire schedule here.
I'm excited to announce that Strands of Sunshine will be offering
3 different jewelry making classes there over the next few months!

Above are two examples of the Gemstone Twist Necklace
that you can make with me at The Paper Seahorse on April 23!

Local mixed-media artist Lainey Rhodes is joining us this weekend for
Second Saturday Artwalk! Her works are created using found objects and
bits of vintage ephemera. 'Imaginary Friends' is a look into a child's
imagination and a world of strange creatures. Check out the
facebook event page for more details!

Learn hand lettering from a pro and paint your favorite quote on a
canvas under the expert care of Christina Lembo. Christina is the
mastermind behind Franny & Franky Designs, and we LOVE her
work here at SoS! FYI: Class is limited to 8 students, so it's a
requirement that you sign up to secure your seat.

Stop by and check out all the new goods!
Shown here- bow tie from Ella Bing's spring collection
and SoS coral and fused fine silver necklace.
This class is going to sell out because it's AWESOME! Let professional print maker Coralette Damme, aka The Crafty Hag, teach you how to carve your own rubber stamp! You'll then use the stamp to create a few works of art, like ATCs (artist trading cards), greeting cards, tags, or stickers. 8 students max, so be sure to RSVP by calling or in person at SoS. You don't have to be great at drawing to create a fun stamp- trust me!
